Located in the beautiful, quaint small town of St. Marys, Veterinary Purchasing is a veterinarian owned distribution company that services the business needs of our members. Our goal in everything we do is to help our members run their businesses profitably and efficiently. We do that by providing industry-leading inventory logistics, purchasing, distribution and corporate management, as well as complementary business services and practice advice through our Executive Services team.
We’re also continually improving our infrastructure and services so that our members have access to new and innovative tools that will support their business management. Our Vetalytix platform lets members benchmark their practice’s performance, and our partnership with myVETstore allows for easy online ordering of prescription pet foods and other products by our members’ clients.
Veterinary Purchasing is led by a five-member Board of Directors, our CEO and CFO/COO. To support the Board of Directors, we have a Management Team that looks after key areas of finance, purchasing, regulatory compliance, information technology, executive services, customer experience, logistics, operations, human resources, and health and safety.
Thanks to our consistent and transparent pricing structure, customized business services, dedicated customer service, and unique shareholder-owned business model, we serve over 2,000 loyal member practices today.
