Regulatory Compliance

VP Regulatory Compliance personnel are mostly invisible to member practices however these individuals ensure that we not only stay abreast, but also keep ahead of regulations and guidelines set by:

  • Health Canada, including the Veterinary Drugs Directorate, the Health Product and Food Branch Inspectorate, and the Office of Controlled Substances
  • The Canadian Food Inspection Agency
  • The Pest Management Regulatory Agency
  • Transport Canada
  • The College of Veterinarians of Ontario

Committed to Our Environment

To help minimize our environmental footprint, we use reusable plastic shipping totes and cold chain packaging to reduce waste and offer paperless statements and invoices. VP also participates in the “saveONenergy” program and has been recognized for stewardship in energy conservation within our community. Our logistics team is passionate about implementing solutions to reduce energy consumption and demand, focusing on areas like external lighting sources.
